My town isn’t exactly known for innovative graffiti, so I was thrilled to find this cool underground art sprayed onto a low concrete wall on campus. I’m not sure how many people actually saw the statement, but it’s quite the graphic plea for Julian Assange’s freedom and/or life (I mean, the whole “keep him alive” thing might be overkill). Adding to the drama of the bloody gunshot is the fact that just behind the art is the Pioneer Cemetery. Who knew the gangsters of Eugene cared about a greasy-haired nerd who’s helping change the Internet and the world? I sure didn’t.
